Getting Started: Learning the UI
Welcome to HVAC 4.0. In this document we will be discussing the main user interface.
Our goal is to give you, the user, the tools you need to quickly navigate this application and focus on the learning!
Learning the UI / The Header
The header contains the name of the app (HVAC 4.0) and links to different functions of this app.

Learning the UI / Content Modules and Modes
Once you select a module to study, you will have the option to choose Training Mode or Challenge Mode
The badge shows completion of a mode
The numbers on the right here shows you your progress on each of these modes.

When you complete all of the tutorials or scenarios within a module, you receive a badge for that mode.

Selecting Faults
As you work through the Electricity for HVAC modules, you will notice that some tutorials include a list of faults, indicated by the X icon and slide-out in the side bar. This slide-out allows the user to turn on/off various faults that may occur in the diagram.

Badges & Progress
The Badge section of this app is the quickest way to view your overall progress in HVAC 4.0.
This section displays the course categories, courses, course modes and individual progress meters (or badges). The badges for Electricity for HVAC and HVAC-TS vary slightly. We will discuss this on the next page.
Electricity for HVAC Badges
Players are awarded a badge when
they complete the training mode.
